'The future of land tenure in a new agricultural era'

The 2019 NFU Tenants Conference takes place on Thursday 14 November 2019 at Haycock Hotel, Peterborough.

Chaired by NFU Vice President Stuart Roberts and NFU tenants forum chairman Chris Cardell, speakers include NFU President Minette Batters, director of land and nature at the National Trust Mark Harold and Wentworth estates manager Anthony Barber-Lomax.

9am: Registration opens with coffee and breakfast rolls

Welcome: Stuart Roberts, NFU Vice President (Chair)                              

Session 1: Minette Batters, NFU President; Mark Harold, Director of Land and Nature, National Trust; Anthony Barber-Lomax, Estates Manager, Wentworth Estate. 

Session 2: Dr David Drew MP, Shadow Minister, Defra; Gail Soutar, NFU Chief EU Exit and International Trade Adviser; Neil Parrish MP, Chair, Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee; Claire Williams and Jenny Barker, Defra.

Session 3: Chris Cardell, NFU Tenants Forum Chair; Tom Addison, Farmer, Buckinghamshire: Matt Redman, Farmer, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire; Mark Fletcher and James Woodhouse, Farmers, Norfolk.
