The NFU is unique in surveying more than 800 members to show the true picture of broadband and mobile coverage for farmers.
Last year's survey results showed that only 6% of respondents had superfast broadband speeds and 15% mobile coverage across their farm in 2016.
We've summarised the results in a two-page document and have provided examples of how farmers can help increase productivity if they can get connected.
The UK is the only country in Europe not committed to superfast coverage for farmers and rural communities. The NFU is calling on the government to put a comprehensive plan in place.
Read our Spotlight on Farm Broadband and Mobile Networks report here.
Read our One Year On report, here, for the latest on the speeds farmers are experiencing and the technology they use when they can get better connectivity.
The NFU will represent rural communities at a seminar focusing on the future of broadband connections in the UK.
Thank you for taking part in the NFU's annual broadband and mobile survey. Over 300 members responded online and 500 responding to the telephone survey providing NFU with evidence of how farmers are connected in 2017. More information soon.
