The meeting followed a submission of evidence to the Department for Transport regarding ideas to reform and improve the administration and policy framework around HS2 land acquisition, land compensation and property schemes.
The three main issues discussed with the minister included introducing a statutory interest rate, investment in property professionals acting for HS2 and for the HS2 Land and Property team to be proactive.
