Why are we involved in this?
We’re backing the survey as we believe that rural crime should be taken seriously.
The information gathered will help the Home Office understand the crime issues affecting farming, forestry and fishery as a business sector, and ensure key issues such as fraud and sheep theft are captured.
It will also be used to monitor crime trends, identify what can be done to reduce issues and to find out what support, advice and information would be useful for businesses.
