Home Office Crime Victimisation Survey

Lock your tractor or lose it _600_400

The Home Office is carrying out its latest Criminal Victimisation Survey, which may involve NFU members receiving an invite letter, with our logo on, asking them to participate by completing a short online survey or written response.

If you take part, you will then receive a follow-up phone call from a company called Ipsos Mori.

If you have any concerns, please call the Home Office contact detailed on the letter.

Why are we involved in this?

We’re backing the survey as we believe that rural crime should be taken seriously.

The information gathered will help the Home Office understand the crime issues affecting farming, forestry and fishery as a business sector, and ensure key issues such as fraud and sheep theft are captured.

It will also be used to monitor crime trends, identify what can be done to reduce issues and to find out what support, advice and information would be useful for businesses.
