The Biodiversity and Environmental Training for Advisors (BETA) course is designed to further develop conservation knowledge, necessary in areas such as agronomy, land management and rural consultancy. With a new environmental land management scheme due in the next few years, this 3-day course offers guidance on implementing effective farmland conservation management.
Previous course attendees have said:
"A brilliant course... excellent knowledge and teaching with a wide knowledge base"
"Liked practical application, discussions within groups and a good split between farm walks and classroom"
The BETA course contains new content not featured in other BASIS courses, backed by scientific evidence and supported by practical application at the Allerton Project demonstration farm in Leicestershire. The course will run between October 2019 and December 2020.
