Deadline fast approaching for BPS 2020 claims plus CS / ES

With less than a week to go, here is a quick round up of where to find information about BPS / ES / CS claims:

The RPA also has a range of information for claimants this year, this is set out below and we have also drawn out some key points to consider.

First up, are the scheme information pages:

There is then information on land, and information about different land uses such as common land, woodland and what might be claimable and also the new RLE1 form and associated guidance on how it can be emailed to the RPA here.

Given that time is already tight to make a claim, knowing how to submit information is key, the NFU has worked with the RPA to produce the following reference grid here. It's key to understand what still needs to be posted to the RPA and by when.

Finally, and not least, here is the latest information and impacts of COVID 19 on 2020 claim process. It includes information on the RPA helpline opening hours for the weekend of 13 and 14 June and a reminder that there are no drop in centres open this year to hand deliver documents, again working that into the approach is key at this late stage. Also, here is a useful reminder of the RPA key scheme dates.

Of course if you need help, NFU Callfirst remains open for business this week and next week on 0370 845 8458 - here are their opening hours.
