NFU submits evidence on UK's trade relationship with Australia and New Zealand

In agricultural terms Australia and New Zealand are competitive global players. In terms of market access, New Zealand and Australia currently have preferential access to the EU and the UK markets in the form of Tariff Rate Quotas (TRQs) for certain key commodities.

Therefore we demand assurances from the UK government that plans to open new free-trade agreements with Australia and New Zealand will not result in a flood of imports of product from Australia and New Zealand.
