Oilseed rape seedling flea beetle damage_24663

We need your help to establish the extent of the cabbage stem flea beetle damage in oilseed rape in your 2015/16 crop.

An online survey is now live to assess adult feeding damage in the young plants in Autumn 2015, and the numbers of larvae found in plants in Spring 2016.

Please complete the questionnaire here so that we can assess the scale of the problem - the survey takes around 10 minutes to complete. We particularly want to get an insight into which areas of the country are most affected by CSFB and where the real hotspots are located.

Thanks for your help.

Comment: On most of our rape that established ok with two insecticides ,we are now faced with horrendous numbers of grubs in most leaf axles but not yet in main stems ,but appears to be stifling plant development

Comment: 240 acres sown lost 120 to flea beetle after 2 sprays and now remaining crops have larvae attack in stem which is hampering growth, not found the positive yet
