Wild Justice’s attempt to challenge supplementary badger cull licences, focusing upon a specific licensing condition, was dismissed at a hearing on 20 October, following an initial refusal of permission to bring the challenge on 28 August by Mr Justice Johnson.

Wild Justice was seeking permission to judicially review seven supplementary culling licences (SBCs) and three SBC authorisations issued by Natural England in May.
