John Longmire

NFU Livestock Board member, North West

John farms in South Cumbria in partnership with his wife and son. He is a third generation dairy farmer milking Friesian cows on their family-owned farm. The milk supplies Booths supermarket and Tebay Services through Morphet Farms.

He also runs a flock of mule sheep and small herd of Limousins. John is currently county vice chair of Cumbria NFU and is a director of Ulverston Auction Mart.
