The Animal Medicines Best Practice Programme (AMBP) was developed by NOAH in partnership with stakeholders from across the food supply chain.
Training materials have been developed for dairy, beef, sheep and pig farmers.
Farmers will be able to complete online training from mid-July 2018. Vets will also be able to deliver training with farmers by accessing materials from a resource centre. This vet resource centre will be available in the coming months.
It’s a simple, easily accessible and affordable training platform hosted by Lantra, a leading awarding body for land-based and environmental training courses and qualifications.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Lantra Certificate of Training. This can be used as a record for Red Tractor assessment.
