It was one of the more popular discussions to take place in the Dairy Hub at this year's Dairy Tech event at Stoneleigh Park.
Joining Mrs Batters on the panel were Oliver McEntyre, Barclays; Peter Kendall, AHDB Dairy and Mike King, RABDF; and chaired by Peter Alvis, RABDF.
The session covered all aspects of Brexit and prompted questions on trade deals and supply chain functionality.
Tens of thousands of people attended the event which showcased the latest innovations, brand new concepts and the science and technology required to push the dairy industry forward.
Also at DairyTech, Farming Minister George Eustice launched a new £60m productivity grants scheme.
Farmers can apply online to the Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme, requesting a grant between £3,000 and £12,000 towards the costs of farm equipment. Many of the items eligible for funding are highly relevant to the dairy sector, including specialist foot trimming crushes and calving detectors.
