NFU at Dairy Tech 2019

The show, which takes place on Wednesday 6 February, describes itself as a dairy tailored event for the new generation of dairy farmers, managers and technicians. It aims to showcase the pressing needs of the modern dairy professional, allowing them to gain maximum exposure to new and exciting industry innovations relevant to their business.

NFU dairy farmer members are welcome to visit our stand B76 in Hall 2 to meet members of the NFU national dairy board including chairman Michael Oakes as well as various NFU advisers from our dairy, legal and environment teams.

Throughout the day, panel sessions will be taking place in the ‘Dairy Hub’. At 1pm NFU dairy board vice chairman Paul Tompkins will be talking about Defra’s Clean Air Strategy alongside Nigel Penlington, AHDB, Liam Sinclair, Harper Adams University, and Paul Galama, Wageningen University.

At 2.15pm dairy board chairman Michael Oakes will be speaking about the future regulation of dairy contracts.
