The delay in publishing the payment rate is to allow Defra to calculate the total EU funding for England, which will include any funding left over from the Farming Ammonia Reduction Grant Scheme. This ensures that all available funds are used. The original allocation for the Small Farmers Scheme in England was approximately £8.5 million.
