BP2013_19303

At this year's British potato event, the NFU will be reporting on its review of potato payment deductions; setting out best practice for delivering transparency in the sector and identifying opportunities to build more collaboration between suppliers and customers.  With a panel including the NFU Potato Forum chairman and vice chairman, Alex Godfrey and Tim Papworth, alongside NFU Horticulture and Potatoes Adviser, Lee Abbey, the seminar will offer an excellent opportunity to hear from the NFU's potato team and discuss the issues that matter to you.

The NFU’s Chief Legal Adviser, Nina Winter, will also be there, talking about avoiding pitfalls in potato contracts.

Free to attend: NFU Potato Forum Seminar, seminar room in Hall 1 foyer, 09.45 Thursday 23rd November.

The NFU Potato Forum was first created in 2010 and consists of 12 potato growers from across the country, representing a wide range of potato markets. It’s chairman and vice chairman, Alex Godfrey and Tim Papworth, also sit on the national Horticulture and Potatoes board to make sure the needs of potato growers are embedded in NFU policy. So, come along and let them know what you want the NFU to do for you.

We look forward to seeing you there!
