Buyers of assured livestock need to make sure that all their holdings on which they graze livestock are registered with Red Tractor.
If livestock are grazing land not registered with Red Tractor, you are at risk of losing your assured status. The information that you provide your buyer or market must match the information on Red Tractor’s secure online system checkers. If details don’t match then it could result in an unnecessary financial penalty.
Every year farm assurance membership renewal forms sent by your certification body will list the information they hold about your holdings. Please ensure that names, addresses, postcodes and most importantly CPH numbers are all up to date. If in doubt contact your certification body to double check they have all the relevant ones listed.
