The two meetings were held by NFU Sugar to provide the opportunity for growers to hear from the NFU Sugar team and ask any questions they may have of their representatives about the on-going price negotiations with British Sugar.
Combined attendance at these meetings was over 435 people.
350 in attendance at the first grower meeting after British Sugar's price offer announcement held in Peterborough on the 18th June'13.
NFU Sugar would like to thank all those who were able to attend despite the busy time on farm and the clear message of on-going support for the position of the NFU Negotiating Team stance.
Tonnages pledged to the NFU now stand at over 5 million tonnes (As of Friday 26th July'13).
