Defra's quarterly Avian Influenza report (available here) reviews disease trends and disease threats for the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, April to June.
It contains analysis of disease data gathered from APHA, Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC), veterinary services and partner post mortem providers along with intelligence gathered from the Avian Expert Group.
The report includes:
- issues and trends in Q2
- new and re-emerging disease and threats
- changes in disease patterns and risk factors
- horizon scanning
Importantly, there were no outbreaks of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in poultry in the UK during Q2-2020 and no detections in wild birds in the UK.
