PHWG AI roadshow - York - 17 October 2017 Presentations
Representatives from the Poultry Club of GB (PCGB) attended a selection of the roadshows and were able to give an insight into their membership. The PCGB affiliate 60 breed clubs and have been increasingly engaging with their members in order to share key messages on biosecurity and updates on disease outbreaks. Two of the council members from the PCGB also meet regularly with DEFRA and alongside the NFU were involved with designing a poster aimed at raising awareness of Avian Influenza amongst backyard keepers.
