The NFU's Poultry Industry Programme (PIP) is calling on anyone planning their next career move to consider opportunities in the poultry sector.

If this sounds like you, be sure to join a special hosted seminar at the 2018 Pig & Poultry Fair on 16 May between 11am-2pm.

2018 PIP participant Fede Monte is an agricultural consultant for ADAS, who said: “The industry is really calling out for talented individuals and we want to help open the doors for them.”

David Speller, a successful broiler farmer, will give insight into how his business has embraced cutting edge technology to improve performance, and the hugely varied roles within his company. His seminar will be followed by a light lunch on the NFU stand where you can discuss anything from feed, genetics, breeding, farm management, veterinary, compliance, transport, engineering and more with individuals at different stages of their careers.

NFU poultry board chairman Thomas Wornham said: “The poultry sector is an incredibly rewarding, innovative sector that can offer the next generation a fantastic career. That is why the NFU plays a leading role in helping to develop their opportunities through the Poultry Industry Programme.”

Danny Johnson from PIP sponsors ABN added: “Joining this seminar at the 2018 Fair is a unique opportunity to speak to those in the industry and explore the opportunities and possibilities this broad and exciting sector offers.”

Sounds pretty awesome from our end - see you there!
