Risk based inspections will be brought into the Red Tractor assurance scheme, meaning those farms who are found not to be conforming to Red Tractor standards will receive an increase in inspection frequency, some of which will be unannounced, and if they continue to see non-conformances they will be suspended or withdrawn from the scheme.
