Apply now to be a Student & Young Farmer Ambassador

SYFAP 2019_73250

The NFU's Student & Young Farmer Ambassador Programme offers young people the opportunity to put their own stamp on the future of British farming as they represent the organisation for one year.

The programme is designed to help participants build their knowledge and become an influential part of the industry, all while receiving the core skills they need to promote themselves and British farming.

The ambassadors will represent the NFU at various events over the course of 12 months, including the Lord Mayor’s Show (pictured below) and NFU Conference and will help to create a takeover edition of the NFU's #StudentFarmer magazine.

NFU President Minette Batters said:

“I am thrilled at the success of our Student & Young Farmer Ambassador Programme in 2019 and have been incredibly proud to see our ambassadors representing the next generation, who are going to be crucial in championing farming in the years to come.

“I encourage anyone with a passion for this industry who wants to make their voice heard and open the door to a career in agriculture to apply. I can’t wait to welcome the new class of 2020 to the NFU and watch them make their mark.”
