The next in the Voluntary Initiative's series of free 'Late in the day…' webinars focuses on helping spray operators to apply plant protection products safely and to best practice.

The webinars are quick-fire talks on slopes, grassland, arable and buffer zones, followed by Q&As.

Various aspects of integrated pest management (IPM) and best practice for plant protection product use over the spring and summer season will be discussed.

This third webinar in the series is ‘What’s going on in my farmyard: Top tips for Filling, Mixing and Maintenance’ to be held on Zoom on 1 September at 8am.

Speakers at the event will include:

  • Iain Robertson (spray operator, Dyson Farming and former FSOOTY winner): Tips and Tricks
  • Ian Forman (National Sprayer Testing Scheme Manager): Preparing your sprayer for its annual test
