The assurance organisation is calling on it farmers to help raise the profile of the Red Tractor so they can demonstrate to consumers that buying Red Tractor food and drink supports producers and responsibly-sourced products.

Help tune up the Tractor – here’s how you can help

Number One_64_64Every Friday for four weeks from September 11th the hashtag #TrustTheTractor will be used in a campaign across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Use the hashtag and tell the world why the Tractor matters to you.
 

Number Two_64_64Sign up for Facebook and Twitter. Like the Red Tractor page and follow @RedTractorFood. Like, comment, share, reply, retweet and favourite as applicable. If you’re not sure how to do that, take a look at the quick social media guide here. You’ll also find guidance on adding a Twibbon to your social media profiles.
 

3_64_64Red Tractor are looking for positive stories, recipes, pictures and videos to get consumers engaged in the work of the farmers at the heart of the scheme. If you post on social media with the hashtag they will share your stories. So get tweeting from the tractor and post your pics.
 

Number four, 4_64_64Beginning in September, Red Tractor will also be running the UK’s largest ever on-pack promotion, giving consumers the chance to win a farm stay holiday every day for seven weeks. The promotion aims to drive sales of Red Tractor products as well as increase understanding of the logo among consumers. Tell people to look out for it.
