The NFU has written to the Chancellor ahead of his announcements.
In our submission, we've outlined measures to help alleviate cashflow difficulties for members, and explained how we need a supportive approach from H M Revenue & Customs when it comes to tax payments.
We've also stressed our concerns over proposed reductions to tax credits for the self-employed, provided some suggestions for mitigating the impact of the National Living Wage and highlighted barriers to long term investment in farm infrastructure.
