Natural England say in Land Management Update:
‘The final deadline for project completion for farmers who have been awarded capital grant funding for HLS Access is 31 March 2014. This might seem a long way off but the complexity of educational access classroom and washroom constructions and conversions means that farmers need to have got their projects well underway this summer if they are going to meet the deadline. Because HLS comes to an end this year there will be no opportunity to roll projects over to another year. The March 2014 deadline is final.
‘Projects that have been awarded grant funding range from dog gates, through stiles and information boards to toilets and classrooms. All projects need to be constructed and the receipted invoice presented to Natural England in good time for us to issue payment before the end of March 2014.
