Our 2018 Cereals Development Programme

Combines at work_7637

Want to know the arable sector from seed to shop shelf?

The scheme is aimed at the next generation and participants are usually aged between 25 and 35 years old, but there is flexibility depending on individual circumstances.

Participants will find out first-hand, what happens when grain leaves their farm gates, and why. The biannual scheme previously ran in 2016 -  you can read blogs from previous participants from each event here.

NFU Vice President Stuart Roberts completed the programme in 2014/15, find out why he thinks NFU members should apply in this video

How do I apply for the Cereals Development Programme?

You can apply for the Cereals Development Programme by emailing your CV and covering letter to Y29tYmluYWJsZWNyb3BzYm9hcmRAbmZ1Lm9yZy51aw==

In your covering letter please tell us a little about why you want to undertake the programme and what you think you can get out of it.

Previous applicants are encouraged to apply, but they must resubmit an application in order to be considered for the 2018/19 programme.

If you have any queries about how to apply or about the programme please contact NFU Chief Combinable Crops Adviser Jack Watts: SmFjay5XYXR0c0BuZnUub3JnLnVr
