The dairy industry is reaching out to farmers on social media, and beyond, for their help in capturing imagery and video clips that explain why they love what they do.

The images will be shared with the public as part of DairyCo’s #DiscoverDairy campaign under the banner of ‘It’s In Our Hands’. The various stories and experiences of real life farmers will then be communicated to the public to educate, gain support and ultimately to ask them to take action and back British dairy farming through promising to look out for the Red Tractor on the dairy items they buy.

The campaign was launchedat the legendary ‘Milk Race’ in Nottingham where some of the world’s best cyclists went head-to-head on the city’s streets. If you're going to the Royal Welsh Show (July 20-23) look out for the Discover Dairy Experience for the chance to meet Abi Reader, who's taking a break from looking after her herd – including past ThisIsDairyFarming.com 'Cow of the Month' Marjoree – to fly the flag for dairy farming in Wales.

To get involved on Twitter, just tweet or post your photos and videos using the hashtag #DiscoverDairy.
