In order to support Ukraine, the UK Government has suspended tariffs on goods originating in the country.

On 25 April 2022 the UK Government announced its intentions to cut tariffs on all goods from Ukraine to zero and to suspend any quantitative quotas under the existing UK-Ukraine FTA (which replicated the trade deal between the EU and Ukraine after Brexit).

This is to provide economic support to the country in its time of crisis and to help rebuild its economy. These measures form part of the wider UK economic support for Ukraine which includes £1bn in loan guarantees.
