Climate Change Committee charts the path to net zero

Published on 9 December, the latest report from the government’s independent advisers on climate change looks ahead 15 years to the Sixth Carbon Budget around the year 2035, and also recommends the revised decarbonisation trajectory required across all areas of the economy in order to meet the UK’s commitment to net zero emissions by 2050.
