There is a legal requirement to provide an employee with a written statement of employment particulars.

The Fair Work Agency (FWA) is a new UK government body which launched under the Employment Rights Act 2025. It will proactively enforce holiday pay, minimum wage, statutory sick pay, and labour abuses, directly impacting employment contracts by ensuring stricter compliance and enabling tribunal representation for employees. It is therefore vital that employment contracts are in place and compliant with the law.
