Back British Farming Day – what we achieved

Back British Farming - food and flag

Back British Farming Day brought farmers, growers, politicians, businesses and the public together to celebrate British farming and make the case for greater support for homegrown food production. Find out what was achieved and what we did.

The NFU’s Back British Farming Day has become a key date in the parliamentary calendar. It’s a chance for MPs and peers to show their support for farmers and growers and gives us the opportunity to show the opportunities there are for growth in this crucial sector.

We take the messages heard during this year's campaign through to government, politicians, businesses and the wider public to ensure that farming features in their thinking.
