You can now watch the latest weekly video from NFU President Minette Batters recorded live from her farm in Wiltshire.

In this week's edition, Minette talks about how the NFU is working for you on dry weather, looks ahead to Cereals Live 2020 where she will be on a panel with Farming Minister Victoria Prentis, and highlights our work on trade and standards.

As part of your membership during these unprecedented times, Minette will continue to vlog from her farm on a weekly basis, giving you the inside line on the NFU's work with government, the supply chain and stakeholders, all of which will show you how your NFU is here for you now and in the future.

Comment: As this dreadful Brexit process comes to fruition what we need is a dynamic, clear thinking and forthright leader, and THAT is what we are fortunate to have in Minette Batters. The Yorkshire folk might say, “cumeth the hour, cumeth the man”’ well cumeth the hour and cumeth this amazing, dynamic, forthright and clear thinking woman!! We are so lucky to be lead by Minette Batters.

Comment: Why don’t we address the nation to ask for workers for horticultural sectors as the NHS did recently?
The response from the nation was overwhelming. The food industry needs help now. It would surely be cheaper than flying in workers from Europe.
