Land Rover off-road driving for Midlands younger members

As part of a compelling programme of events for younger NFU Midlands members (20-40-years-old), we are inviting you to a CPD-focused day of Land Rover off-road challenges, practical skill, sector insight and networking on Thursday, 19 March.

What's happening?

9:30am | Guests arrive at Shire Farm, Rockingham Castle & Park, Uppingham Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 8TP, tea and coffee served

9:50am | Briefing on activities by lead instructor from Land Rover Experience. Guests divided into teams and escorted to activities which they will rotate through

10am | Activities begin

•    4 x Land Rover trials driving - navigating through a quarry with different obstacles

•    2 x Kubota blind driving and 1 x Kubota reverse steer – a challenge of coordination and driving skills while blind folded and navigated by the team using buzzwords not including right, left, front and back

•    4 x Land Rover safari

•    Laser action – Airsoft guns with electric targets

•    Archery

•    Axe throwing

1pm | Two-course buffet style lunch, refreshments and prize giving

2pm | The latest policy developments impacting your sector, delivered by NFU experts in the conference room

4pm | Meeting concludes and guests depart
