Nottinghamshire members are invited to attend a Water Resources Meeting with Specialist NFU Advisors, to discuss water resources at a time of significant and anticipated policy change.

With the forthcoming Water White Paper, there remains uncertainty around how future reforms may affect abstraction licensing, water availability, and on-farm resilience. This meeting will provide an opportunity to hear directly from NFU specialists, share current experiences, and raise local concerns.

We are pleased to welcome the following guest speakers:

  • Mark Betson, Water Resources Specialist, NFU
  • Charlotte Allen, Nutrient Management Specialist, NFU

Their expertise will help inform discussion and support members in understanding how potential policy changes may impact farm businesses. Your input will help shape the NFU’s position as policy details become clearer, ensuring we continue to advocate effectively on behalf of farmers.

We strongly encourage members with an interest in water management, abstraction, nutrient planning, or future resilience to attend.
