Protesters marching through a street in Brussels

If you're attending a march or protest, make sure you're doing so safely and within the limits of the law.

We aim to give you a brief overview of the law relating to protests, and some guidance on good practice if you are involved in a protest or demonstration.

This is not a comprehensive guide to the law, and if you are in doubt about your legal position, you should take independent legal advice.
