Farmers attending a farm business update meeting

The popular Farm Business Updates meetings return for 2024, allowing the opportunity to network with fellow farmers, speakers and sponsoring organisations, including the NFU.

Seven events will take place between late January and early February in East Anglia.  Sessions run from 9.30am to 12.45pm including a coffee break and will be followed by a free lunch.

This year’s events include guest speakers who are largely farmers and Nuffield scholars, covering a range of personal stories and study findings.

The presentations will follow the usual format including water quality updates from the relevant water company, the NFU’s Richard Wordsworth chronicling where we are with the agricultural transition plan and the Environment Agency demystifying farm inspections.

Catchment Sensitive Farming and FWAG will update on on delivering water and air quality and biodiversity, respectively, from current agri-environment schemes and the CLA’s Andrew Marriott will discuss nature recovery.
