The 2024 International Summit on the Role of Meat & Livestock in Society remit is to encourage open, frank, and transparent dialogue with an international audience about what the science says about the role of livestock and meat (including poultry) production in a global society.

NFU Livestock Board chair David Barton and NFU's chief livestock adviser John Royle are at the 2024 International Summit on the Role of Meat & Livestock in Society on a fact-finding mission to ensure that British beef and lamb continues to be some of the best beef and lamb in the world.
