We are delighted to announce that NFU Newton Abbot, Moretonhampstead and Chagford now has two group secretaries again.
James Maxwell started at the beginning of May. Prior to joining us, he was a trainee agent with NFU Mutual and before that was a general manager at a golf club.
Recently, James has been getting out on local farms to get up to speed on issues affecting the industry. He lives in South Devon and is a keen sportsman.
We have been in unprecedented times and have greatly appreciated your understanding and support. With restrictions lifting, we look forward to getting out and about and seeing members in person again.
We are just finalising plans for a summer social event, so please keep an eye out for further details.
