Ellie will spend half of her time working alongside CA Marie Charles in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland, with the other half spent helping out the rest of the Midlands region where necessary.
Prior to joining the NFU, Ellie worked as an agronomist for eight years across the Midlands looking after combinable, forage and grassland crops.
"I'm looking forward to bringing that experience into my role within the NFU," she said.
"I'm keen to engage with young members, working closely with Young Farmers' Club and local colleges to engage with the future generations of farming and showcase what the NFU does and how they can get involved.
"I'm so excited to be starting this new role within the Midlands, helping the County Advisers and engaging both with members and stakeholders across the region."

"I’m looking forward to meeting new and familiar members throughout the Midlands region in the New Year.
"I live in Staffordshire with my other half who works as a poultry farm manager, but I come from a family arable farm in South Derbyshire," Ellie said.
"When I'm not working, you'll either find me on a hockey pitch or competing at flyball with my two dogs across the UK and Europe, having been selected to represent Team GB next year at the Flyball Open World Cup!"
