Each morning workshop will cover essential health and safety topics, likely to include farm risk assessments, falling objects, machinery maintenance, overhead powerline safety, contractor safety and looking after you and your staff. Fire service personnel and the police will be attending some of the events. Registration is 9.30am for a 10am start.
All participants receive a certificate of attendance. Breakfast rolls and tea and coffee will be available

NFU Regional Policy Manager Charles Hesketh said: “It’s vital that we do everything we can do improve the industry’s poor safety record and these events are an effective way to highlight safer ways of working.
“A few hours spent at one of our workshops could literally be a lifesaver back on the farm.”
