NFU stand at the Nottinghamshire County Show 2025

The Midlands show season kicked off on Saturday, 10 May with the Nottinghamshire County Show.

Held at Newark Showground, the one-day event is a hit with the public and a great opportunity to speak to them, as well as to our members.
NFU Nottinghamshire and Holland (Lincs) County Adviser Gabriella Gregory said she was delighted with the day.

“We had a good turnout for our Local Nature Recovery Strategy meeting, with project staff on-hand to answer members’ questions, and our drinks reception took place in the afternoon.

"And a big thank you to Farol for their generous loan of farm vehicles for our stand.”

There was cause for celebration with former council delegate John Charles-Jones’s well-deserved award for his tireless contributions to county farming, presented by Newark & Notts Agricultural Society.

“It was a glorious day at the show and great to see so many NFU members and visitors on our stand.”

Gabriella Gregory, Nottinghamshire and Holland (Lincs) County Adviser
