30 January 2024, 10:00 – 15:00

NFU London Office, Westminster

A map of the NFU East region

Join NFU President Minette Batters and other speakers exploring the topic of succession and building resilience through the generations.

Next Generation Chair Eveey Hunter and Co Vice-Chairs Hannah Buisman and Charles Seamark hope the event will be a catalyst to kick-start next gen activity across the region.

NFU President Minette Batters will be opening the event, followed by a representative from Defra and Neeve McGinty from the NFU external affairs team. There will be a diverse farmer panel where we will look at the journey they took to find their place in agriculture and their future plans. More information will be available closer to the event.

Refreshments will be available from 9:30am with the event starting at 10am and finishing at 3pm. A buffet lunch will be provided and there will be an opportunity for networking after the event.

This event is targeted at the next generation, but we are aware that ‘next generation’ can encompass a wide range of ages. Although it is targeted primarily at 25 to 40-year-olds, you are welcome to attend if you are outside this range. It is open to all members, as well as people associated with a membership, for example, a family member or a member of staff.

There are a limited number of tickets available for this event, so we encourage early registration. If the membership is in your name, all you need to do is click on the Register button and you will be automatically registered. If the membership is not in the attendee’s name, please email [email protected] with the details of the individual wishing to attend.

Booking will close when tickets run out, or on Tuesday 23 January 2024.
