Hannah Jackson and Tom Bradshaw speaking on a Shed Talks panel

The subject of resilience was put under the microscope as farmers descended on a Nottinghamshire farm for the NFU's Shed Talks live event.

NFU President Tom Bradshaw and an inspirational group of guest speakers, including the ‘Red Shepherdess’ Hannah Jackson, spoke candidly about their own experiences of adapting to change and the steps taken to ensure they and their farm businesses remain resilient.

The second instalment of the new programme took place in a grain barn at John and Cathy Charles-Jones’s mainly arable Woodborough Park Farm, featuring a tractor and trailer as the main stage, bales for the audience to sit on and catering trucks offering coffee, drinks and cheese toasties.

“When farmers come together to share their experiences we build the confidence to invest in the future.”

NFU President Tom Bradshaw
