Three men accused of illegally slaughtering sheep in attacks across Northamptonshire will stand trial in March.
Robert Iordan, 23, Florin Nutu, 35, and Viorel Manu, 38, all pleaded not guilty to conspiring to steal in relation to the slaughter and illegal butchery of sheep and lambs in fields around the county between June 22 and October 7, 2019.
Iordan and Nutu, both of Dunsink Road, Birmingham, and Manu, of no fixed address, appeared via video link to enter their pleas through a Romanian translator at a Northampton Crown Court hearing today (Monday 13 January).
Judge Rupert Mayo, the recorder of Northamptonshire, remanded all three men in custody until their trial on 23 March, which is expected to last six days.
