Conservative conference delegates debate future of farming

_47540Delegates packed Manchester Town Hall to discuss ‘what next for food and farming?’ at a Conservative Party Conference fringe event organised by the NFU and the Food and Drink Federation on Monday night.

NFU President Meurig Raymond and FDF Director General, Ian Wright, joined Defra Secretary of State Michael Gove and Wyke Farm’s Richard Clothier on the panel. Julia Glotz of The Grocer chaired the wide-ranging debate. Here’s what happened.
