Having worked for the NFU Mutual for 10 years, mainly as sales adviser, 33-year-old Gill spent five and a half years working for the NFU Chester Agency before moving onto Knutsford and then becoming an NFU Mutual locum agency manager for the last three and a half years covering Lancashire, parts of Cumbria and Shropshire.
Gill grew up in Manchester and started work full time at the age of 16 for a PR Agency and since then has always had roles within financial institutions. Her husband Mark is a financial adviser and the couple live on the Wirral.
She said: “I’m in an extremely privileged position having been a locum agent as I’ve found myself in the centre of agencies where there have been many challenges to overcome. My strength has been the way I’ve supported staff and successfully put the interests and needs of our customers back to the heart of those offices.
“At Knutsford I’m really looking forward to building a strong team and work is currently ongoing to find a third partner. I want to build upon the work Liz Lawrence has done during her 25 years and hope the next 25 years replicate that level of growth.”
