Throughout the campaign hustings meetings where representatives from all the parties had the opportunity to talk to a farming audience have been held across the region and, just as importantly, farmers have had the opportunity to ask the candidates questions about what they are planning to do for the industry.
The public were also urged to cast their vote for British farming and banners promoting the campaign have appeared across the region.
