Using information provided by members and industry experts we have indicated that this proposed Directive will impact the following agricultural activities:
- Grain drying
- Glasshouse growing
- Biomass boilers
Our initial response to Defra covers numbers affected, operating hours, emissions, abatement costs and asks for clarity on a number of issues.
This proposed Directive is in the initial stages and it is estimated that it could take two years to come into force. However the more evidence we gather and provide at these early stages the more influence we can have on the process and outcome.
