The NFU dairy team recognises that there is an increasing amount of pressure on the dairy sector and market volatility creating significant turbulence across the supply chain, affecting dairy farmers and others in the supply chain.
To aid members, the team has produced a UK dairy market assessment, alongside another to explain the variety of market support measures that are currently being assessed for suitability to support the dairy sector. The dairy team is in constant contact with Defra and with the supply chain, other UK farming unions and regional teams to ensure the voice of dairy farmers and the sector are heard.
